Third Age Acting Company is an ensemble of older adults who work as part of arts organisation Collective Encounters. Since lockdown started, the group have been getting started on a new arts and heritage project called Women in Action, which will gather and share stories of activism and community organising by women in Merseyside.
This month, the Third Age group took part in three online training sessions with the British Library, learning about oral histories and developing skills in conducting oral history interviews. They are now looking forward to interviewing women who have experience of supporting their community and fighting for social change. If you have a story you think they might be interested in, please get in touch with Tessa Buddle.
