Liverpool Carers Centre November activities

Liverpool Carers Centre was established to provide recognition and support for carers. The centre delivers a range of services that aim to improve the quality of life for carers in Liverpool and hosts a range of activities and events for carers each month.

They have a new 6-week Cooking Classes for Busy Carers Starting Monday 4 November & Monday 9 December at 10am – 12pm. Learn how to cook some tasty one pot meals to eat on the day or to freeze for the week. Over this six-week course you will learn how to create healthy low-cost meat free meals for you and the family.  The cost is £3 per session and carers must be committed to attend all the sessions. A £9 deposit will be required at the start to secure your place.

They are running a Carers Coach Trip to Manchester Christmas Markets on Wednesday 20 November 10am – 6pm. They are putting on a day trip to Manchester to visit the Christmas markets. The cost of the trip will be £10.00 per carer. To reserve your seat Liverpool Carers Centre asks that you pay in full by Wednesday 13 November (Unfortunately this fee will not be refundable) with lots to see and do as well as 9 Chrismas markets, don’t miss out on a great day out!

And they have Finding peace, a new six-part self-care and compassion course, starting 15 November – 12.30 – 1.30pm. It is a scientifically-proven mindfulness meditation techniques to help you find peace and take better care of yourself, relieving stress and restoring a sense of wellbeing. Easy, seated exercises with kindness and compassion, in a small and friendly group. Suitable for everyone.
