Lister Steps have some great autumn activities coming up and everyone is welcome to get involved.

Heritage Open Weekend – Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 September

Take a tour of The Old Library to see how its renovation is progressing. Meet experts from the design & construction team who will guide you round the ground floor of this historic Grade II listed building, which is coming back to life for community use. Tickets are free but must be booked in advance and sturdy closed-toe footwear is essential.

Macmillan Coffee Morning – Wednesday 25 September, 10am – 12pm

Come along to enjoy some baked goodies, meet new people, find out all the latest from The Old Library project and raise money for a great cause. Bakers are welcome to bring something along for the table! The event will take place in our Community Room at Lister Steps, Lister Drive, Tuebrook, L13 7HH.

National Poetry Day – Thursday 3 October

Celebrating National Poetry Day with some shared reading & poetry sessions. Drop into Lister Steps at 11am, 2pm or 6pm and enjoy reading & listening to poetry with like-minded others in a relaxed & friendly environment. No pressure to read aloud, just sit back, listen & enjoy the conversation. The poetry sessions will also be held in the Community Room at Lister Steps, Lister Drive, Tuebrook, L13 7HH.
