An evening of fundraising and debate about how old buildings across our city can bring new life to communities.
Hosted by Lister Steps, a well-established children’s charity in Tuebrook, who are currently undertaking the restoration of the Grade II listed Andrew Carnegie Library on Green Lane, thanks to National Lottery Heritage Fund. Their vision is to be the spark that makes Liverpool 13 a better place to live and work, creating positive impacts that are felt by local people, businesses and others outside our neighbourhood.
At the fundraising event, you will be joined by like-minded companies and individuals to debate why heritage buildings in our city are important, the impact they can have on people and how they can be used innovatively to improve lives and regenerate communities.
They also hope to share information on The Old Library project, inspire people to get involved, and raise vital funds so we can re-open this cherished building as a space our community can come together to learn, celebrate & have fun.
The evening will begin with light refreshments and networking opportunity, followed by presentations from key speakers including Gerry Proctor from Engage Liverpool and Jo Harrop from PlacED, and finally revealing the winners of our fabulous raffle prizes! We hope to see you there!
Tickets can be booked online or by calling 07988 778372.
