Hidden Voice takes us into the real world of those affected by dementia to give a voice to their stories and raise our understanding about one of the most important issues of our time.
”Utterly stunning! When words fail music takes over. This brought my mum back to me” – Duncan Jones – Alzheimer’s Society Board of Trustees.
Joining forces with them to create an inspiring evening are musicians from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, six Wirral secondary schools and a short film featuring actor and comedian Paul Whitehouse.
The Wirral Schools will perform their creative responses inspired by the themes from ‘Hidden Voice’ brought to you in partnership with The Alzheimer’s Society.
Music in Mind is a registered charity to promote the use of music as an aid to public health and well – being, learning and creativity. Through innovative projects and performances we use music and the arts to raise awareness around important social issues and give a voice to people.
