A gentle and safe way to experience dance, we welcome carers, friends and family members to share the experience.

Based on English National Ballet’s contemporary and classical repertoire, Dance for Parkinson’s classes provide a fun and informal way for participants to discover the themes, choreography and music of the ballet, with special opportunities to attend exclusive behind-the-scenes events and see the Company perform.

This programme is proven to support people with Parkinson’s to develop confidence and strength, whilst temporarily relieving some participants of symptoms in everyday life. Classes are expressive, creative and promote feelings of freedom from the physical and social constraints of having Parkinson’s.

This term, we’ll be exploring ENB’s production of Le Corsaire. No dance or ballet experience required to attend. Classes delivered by Stephen Mannings and Leila Chebbi.

Contact info@mdi.org.uk or call 0151 7088810 to find out more and book a place. We ask that the full course is paid for in advance, but if you are unable to do this get in touch so we can find a solution together.
