Collective Encounters: Free Arts and Dementia Toolkit Workshops

posted in: News 0

Do you care for a relative with dementia?

Collective Encounters specialises in using theatre and the arts to help bring about positive change. They’ve been working with people with dementia and their carers since 2009 to find ways of helping people to live well with their dementia and helping carers find fun, creative ways of enhancing their caring experience and their quality of life.

Collective Encounters have just received funding from the Morrison’s Foundation to run a series of free creative workshops for Home Carers and the people they care for.

The workshops will:

  • Be free to attend
  • Be welcoming and friendly
  • Put you in touch with other home carers
  • Give you a chance to try new activities
  • Give you helpful materials to take home

Workshops are running on various dates across Merseyside from Autumn 2017 – Spring 2018. If you are interested in attending, call 0151 345 6266 or email
