posted in: News 0

Our libraries do so much more than lend books!

Knowsley Libraries are running some fantastic activity groups including Tea & Tech, Author Visits, Tea and Topics and Book Folding group.

Their activity groups are going from strength to strength and they have shared some wonderful feedback about a recent Afternoon Tea held at Huyton Library.

  • Huge thank you to all the staff at Huyton library for a wonderful afternoon on Friday. The afternoon tea was lovely, beautifully presented and delicious. All your hard work was greatly appreciated.
  • We had a wonderful afternoon at Huyton library on Friday, when we had afternoon tea provided by the wonderful staff. They went out of their way to ensure that we had a good time. The food was presented beautifully and a good time was had by all.
  • Fully enjoyed Friday’s afternoon tea. The presentation was excellent. Every effort by the girls to ensure a variety of cakes and sandwiches for all. Pleasant conversation from all – a great day.

Knowsley Libraries said: “Thirty six people came to our Afternoon Tea celebration at Huyton Library today. This event was held to thank the members of our various groups within the library – Knit & Natter, Reading Group, Sewing Bee, Book Folding, Tea & Tech etc for their invaluable support throughout the year. We wanted to give them some recognition for all the support they give us by attending these groups and their valuable efforts in the many different ways they contribute to our service.
