Do you have a complaint about work? It’s time to get your voice heard through the medium of music and be part of the newly commissioned Liverpool Complaints Choir!

The Complaints Choir is an internationally known project, created by artists Tellervo Kalleinen and Oliver Kochta-Kalleinen, that invites you to sing your gripes aloud and create something special through the power of community and song. Especially for FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) and in 2019, the choir will focus on the theme of work.

Singing rehearsals are free, open to everyone with no prior singing skills required and refreshments provided. As a member of The Liverpool Complaints Choir, you will take part in group rehearsals in preparation for 4 exciting public performances in Liverpool. During rehearsals, your complaints about work will be turned into a powerful choir song, led by Choir Director, Jennifer John.

WORKSHOP: TUESDAY 16 JULY 18:00 – 21:00

Before rehearsals begin, please join FACT for a lyric making workshop where they will be reading through the complaints and enjoying a vocal warmup. This session will take place in The Box at FACT on the ground floor. FACT (88 Wood Street, Liverpool, L1 4DQ) is fully accessible and you can read our access policy here.

REHEARSALS: JULY – AUGUST

Rehearsal dates to be confirmed during the first meeting on Tuesday 16 July. Each of the rehearsals will last between 2-3 hours.
