Literature: Giving Older People a Voice
As part of The Big Give Christmas Challenge, The Reader hope to raise £50,000 which will train and support 50 volunteers to bring Shared Reading to socially isolated older people in care homes and community settings. Thanks to two anonymous Pledgers and their Big Give Champions, The Reed Foundation, they have already secured £24,000 in match-funds meaning that public donations made between Giving Tuesday (28 November) and Tuesday 5 December will be doubled!
