On 27 October from 10am – 5pm Open Eye Gallery are inviting people to join them to build the Lost and Found Labyrinth by sharing their experiences of living with dementia. Playing, laughing and being active while accepting new challenges is a great way to keep the brain engaged; the labyrinth will focus on joyful moments to bring a smile or maybe a laugh and let people know that we can live well with dementia. Resembling a cerebral cortex, the labyrinth path offers insightful peaceful experiences. Likened to a walking meditation, the labyrinth provides a perfect place for people living with dementia to find a sense of wellness and calm.
The collaborative workshops will be led by a team of LJMU artists and students.
Please bring your stories and photographs – all original photographs will be copied and returned.
