Nature on your Doorstep

The Nature on your Doorstep events series continues at National Museums Liverpool with a third nature-themed event taking place on 2 June and 14 July at Sudley House.

The project is centred on the fantastic natural history collections housed by National Museums Liverpool and is an experiment that will test the potential of natural heritage collections to support successful ageing.

Nature on your Doorstep aims to encourage older people to consider the natural environment around them, and to engage with it in new and unexpected ways.

The series of events is a part of Encountering the Unexpected, a special engagement project with older people using natural heritage collections, in partnership with the Research Centre for Museums and Galleries (RCMG), University of Leicester, the North West Natural History Museums Partnership, and strategic partners including The Eden Project, Age UK and Equal Arts.
