I am delighted to announce the next HOP network meeting will be held at Blackburne House, L8 7PE on Thursday 2nd March. The meeting will take place from 2pm – 4pm in the Emma Holt Suite and tea, coffee and cake will be provided.
During the meeting we will be exploring how neighbouring / buddy schemes can enable access to and participation with arts and culture for older people. I am particularly interested in hearing about any active schemes, organisations or individuals who are working in this way so please do get in touch if you know of any or better still are experiencing such schemes.
There will be time to network with like-minded people and organisations in the city, hear about opportunities and make connections across a number of different key sectors. Confirmed attendees include:
- Liverpool City Council
- Local Solutions
- Wheel Meet Again
- Helena Partnerships
- Liverpool CCG
- Liverpool John Moores University
- African Elders Association
We will also be reviewing the work of HOP Pots over the last 6 months looking at the work of directly commissioned HOP Pot’s from 2016 / 17.
It would be fantastic to see you there – please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0151 478 4026 to confirm your attendance.
