Liverpool’s Senior Citizens Forum, the voice of older people in Liverpool, will be holding their Annual General Meeting on Thursday 26 March 2015. As part of the AGM, the Forum will be launching their Manifesto on Loneliness and Social Isolation, something the HOP partners are keen to address by engaging older people in the cultural life of the city.
HOP is hosting a stall at the event to showcase the amazing opportunities which are out there for older people. Do you work in an arts organisation or venue? Can you help on the day? We’re looking for people who can attend to promote the work of their own organisation and also the wider cultural offer across Liverpool. If you can’t attend, we’d be very happy to take flyers, publicity material or giveaways for goodie bags on your behalf.
The meeting will be held between 10.30am and 2.30pm at the League of Welldoers, 119-133 Limekiln Lane, Liverpool, L5 8SN. If you can attend for all or part of it we would be delighted. Alternatively if you have brochures, flyers, or free pens and badges we can take along, let us know when and where to pick them up. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
