Happy Older People (HOP) is a network which promotes age-friendly arts participation.

Happy Older People brings together:

Older people

Cultural organisations
first aid kit

Health and social care providers

Housing associations

Community groups

Transport providers

Volunteering organisations

We aim to create new partnerships and connections between organisations in the Liverpool City Region, making a difference to older people who may be isolated and lonely, who simply want to try something new or go somewhere different. We hope that HOP will be a catalyst for a more age-friendly arts offer across the city.

HOP holds quarterly network meetings, giving all of our members a chance to get together, meet new people, find out about each other’s work and share news and information.

Small grants

HOP Pot small grants funding may be available for local organisations who want to work together to break down barriers which prevent older people from taking part in the arts.
